Behind the Work

My relationship with music first started in school. I was part of the school band, and was always more interested in rehearsals than report cards.

When I was 15, I submitted a proposal and received a grant for my thesis titled "The X-Files on the Success of International Music in India" — for which I was felicitated with the Vinod Dikshit Award by the late Chief Minister of Delhi, Mrs. Sheila Dikshit.

I moved to Mumbai for college, and the city pulled me deeper in. I started my career at a leading media conglomerate, where I got my first real taste of large-scale entertainment — working on projects like Sunburn, the Commonwealth Championship, and Miss Universe India. I was learning the business of culture from the inside.

But I always knew I wanted to build something of my own. Something rooted in artists first.

That's how Shark & Ink was born — what started as a nightlife curation agency has grown over the past decade into an award-winning, multi-genre talent representation company spanning artist management, touring, music supervision, brand partnerships, and experiential IPs.

I've had the privilege of walking alongside artists like The Yellow Diary, Dino James, Sartek, Akshath, Monica Dogra, and Taaruk Raina — not just managing their careers, but helping them build something that lasts.

My north star is simple: I believe Indian artists deserve world-class representation, and I believe South Asian culture has the power to travel globally. Everything I do is in service of that.
